I value my clients, take my craft seriously, and build long-lasting relationships with those I represent.

AREAS OF PRACTICE

CRIMINAL DEFENSE

If you or someone you know has been charged with a serious offense or crime, do not take it lightly.  If convicted,  immediate consequences could include hefty fines, time in jail,  and imprisonment.  A criminal record can cause employment issues, loss of reputation in the community, loss of your right to bear arms, and negatively  impact the future for both you and your family.

DUI / DWI

For many people, being charged with a DUI is their first actual encounter with law enforcement and the criminal justice system. DUI arguably affects the greatest variety of people, many of whom did not believe they were committing a crime. Regardless of income or social status, DUI law is strongly enforced by authorities. DUI conviction is unique in nature because it can be based solely on a police officer’s opinion.

EXPUNGEMENT

For many people that have pled guilty or been found guilty a misdemeanor in Tennessee, they soon realize their criminal history follows them long after they leave the courthouse.  Misdemeanors come up on most background checks and many employers use a prospective employees criminal history to determine whether or not to hire.
